Plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion | Leads or
coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and team
leadership | Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or
resource additions | Responsibilities are within the Program Management Function as a generalist
or in a combination of Disciplines.

 

Major Position Responsibilities

Manages all aspects of complex projects throughout the project lifecycle: planning, scope
definition, design, execution, and delivery.
• Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other
stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are
communicated.
• Assists with the selection, negotiation, and managing of all activities regarding external
consultants or vendors.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
• Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to
track project tasks.
• Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.
• Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators,
and prepares reports to senior management.
• Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation
plans.
• Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjusts allocations when
necessary.

• Defines project/process activities, plans project resource requirements, sequences project's
activities, estimates activities durations, and develops project schedule including critical path
reduction application




Basic Qualifications

 

Required Education: Associate's Degree, Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education &/ or Experience, 

 

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree

Discipline/Major: Business degree or related discipline preferred.

Project Management Certification preferred

2-4 years experience relevant to the positions functional area

The perfect candidate would have the ability to identify a problem and enlist the appropriate peole to solve the problem. Is innovative and a natural problem solver.  Has excellent computer skills, is very detail oriented, has a good memory, is well organized, can take direction from multiple sources and determine pripority of completing tasks in their queue.  Must have great communication skills, works independently, and likes to work in a team environment.

 

Physical Demands:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods
of time.

Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.

May need to stand for long periods of time.

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

 

 

Pay Range (USD) 59,5000.00 - 110,500.00 Additional Compensation Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.
