Impact of this role
We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Project Officer to join us and play a critical role in driving positive impact within our community and on our planet. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission by helping to build strategic partnerships, monitor project execution from start to finish, and communicate impact stories to a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues, funders, peers and media. You will be expected to work independently and be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines without losing attention to detail – or sense of humor! This position will report to the Program Manager of Rosewood Foundation.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and development of global programs that are aligned with the foundation’s strategic pillars.Coordinate global programs with multiple stakeholders from the business and nonprofit worlds to ensure successful execution.Monitor and evaluate project progress systematically to ensure adherence to schedules, scope and budget, including having regular check-ins with project partners through virtual and in-person meetings.Support Program Manager on preparing materials for the Board of Directors, from progress reports and financial documents to pitches for new projects.Coordinate with project partners to collect data and impact stories to create written and visual communication assets that can be shared on internal and external platforms.Conduct ongoing research on social and environmental issues to stay abreast of key trends. Report key findings and recommendations to the team.Carry out administrative and other ad-hoc tasks, including maintaining physical and electronic proper project records and documentations.While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the duties involved in this position, the company reserves the right to add, remove or alter duties when business need dictates.Critical Skills & Qualification
At least three years of work experience in any field.Demonstrable experience of project management.A passion for creating positive impact in the world.Strong drive to engage with complex projects and learn along the way.Flexible, dynamic individual who is comfortable with managing multiple projects at once.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to support collaboration between different stakeholders.Self-starter with strong organizing skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Can roll up sleeves and dive into all aspects of a project with a positive attitude.Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, with the ability to simplify complex messages and adapt them to different internal and external audiences.Proficiency in basic MS computer applications: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
