Project Performance Manager
**Overview** We areseekinga highly skilled and experienced **Project** **Performance** **Manager** to join ourcorporateOperational Excellence withinthe Steampunk TechOps team. Thiscorporaterole is critical to ensuringalignment with our documented processes and best practices.Youwill conduct comprehensivereviews to evaluateprojecthealth.You will dive deep into the detailswith the PMsto develop meaningful findings,identifyrisk, and support continuous improvement. You must understand complex business processes.You must have good analytical skills, solid business judgement, a strongfocus, and the capability to drive the right results with a focused and pragmatic approach.Youmust have astrongunderstanding of project management frameworks.You mustbe able to understand high-level technical context;technicalbackground is a plus.You must be able to work independently and remain flexible, with the ability to prioritize workloads andmaintaina strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with exceptional documentation skills. They will also excel at synthesizing complex data into actionable recommendations, influencing leadership decisions, and collaborating cross-functionally to implement quality improvements that drive operational excellence across the enterprise. Thishybridposition will be based out of McLean, Virginia. **Contributions** **Key Responsibilities:** + Reviews available documentation toacquirean in-depth knowledge of assigned operations, processes, policies, and procedures. + Independentlyleads andexecutes assigned reviewsof quality, program management, and software developmentprocesses to ensure conformance with quality, services, and information security management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001, etc.) and CMMI-DEV ML3. + Uses sound analytical skills andpossessesproject management, businessacumen,and technicalexpertiseto execute assigned reviews. + Producesdetailedevaluationswith quantitative and qualitative analysis to present findings, trends, and risk exposure to leadershipwithrecommendations to enhance process efficiency and regulatory compliance. + Effective influence skills in communicating findings. This individual must be an articulate and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing. **Qualifications** **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field. + Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience inProject Management,IT projects,Quality Assurance,Assessmentsand/orRisk Management, with a minimum of3years in a lead role. + At least 1 professional certification, for examplePMPorCISSP. + Strong experience in data analysis and the ability to translateauditfindings into business-driven improvements. + Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-impact environment with minimal supervision. **Desired Skills and Experience:** + Practical experience using project management tools, SharePoint, Teams, and Jira. + Experience in auditing within highly regulated industries (e.g.,federal contracting,healthcare, pharmaceuticals, automotive, or financial services) is a plus. + Provenexpertisein risk-based auditing techniques, internal controls, and process optimization. **About** **steampunk** Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $115,000 to $150,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
