PROJECT ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Project Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to oversee all project aspects from conception to completion. Activities such as scope development, budgeting, design, procurement, scheduling, construction management, installation, and commissioning will be under your direction.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (including other duties as may be assigned)

Reporting to the Manager of Facilities Engineering, this engineer is responsible for the execution of capital projects and the optimization and troubleshooting of systems and equipment in a cGMP sterile injectable manufacturing facility.In this position, there is an emphasis on facilities and critical utilities such as WFI, clean steam, oil free process air, chilled water, condenser/tower water, and cleanroom HVAC equipment, controls, monitoring, and alarming.The engineer is responsible for all aspects of project management including the conceptual and detailed development of project scopes and processes, securing capital funding, coordinating design efforts while utilizing reliability engineering concepts as the foundation of design, managing document approvals, and coordinating the procurement, construction, installation, start-up, and commissioning of facilities and equipment for up to twenty projects simultaneously.The engineer also provides technical support to maintenance, production, QA, and validation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

BS in Mechanical, Electrical Chemical or similar engineeringExperience with managing capital projects ranging from $250K-1M. Will manage up to 20 projects at one time. Full scope; budget, expenditures, installation/commissioning and validation.Interacting and working with vendors/suppliers, contractors, production/maintenance, engineering, quality, and EHSKnowledgeable in cGMPs, and other regulations such as FDA, EPA, DEA, OSHAWrite Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00
