We are the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the Programme and Project Partners (PPP). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver £7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment. Role Profile
Management and coordination of SCP UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) marking of pressure systems and machinery in accordance with the project strategy and applicable UK product regulations including the following activities\:
Coordinate compliance activities for both UKCA marked and nuclear-excluded pressure systems and equipment in accordance with project strategy and programme and the Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations. Coordinate compliance activities for UKCA marked machinery systems and equipment in accordance with project strategy and programme and the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations. Manage and maintain the SCP project UKCA Marking Strategy and Product Boundary Definition documents. Manage Approved Body appointment and activities as required for specific conformity assessment modules for pressure systems and equipment. Manage the production and review of Technical Files in conjunction with the \\project delivery teams and fabricators in accordance with applicable regulations to enable Conformity Assessment and Declaration sign off where required. Arrange and coordinate the review of technical files using the design review format. To provide advice and guidance on application and compliance with Regulations. Demonstrable experience in a similar role/ environment, with recent relevant exposure to regulations that require CE Marking and associated EU Harmonised Standards and UKCA Marking and UK Designated Standards. Good understanding of Conformity Assessment for machinery, machinery assemblies, pressure systems and equipment, construction products and electrical equipment. Demonstrable experience in the leadership and direction of others to deliver engineering. Ability to coordinate and carry out Conformity Assessment of Machinery and Pressure Systems.Our Culture
