We are looking for a Project Responsible to join our team and help us to integrate automatic train protection systems (ATP-systems) into locomotives and cab cars. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in developing complex control components in the overall system locomotive. Among other things, you are responsible for ensuring that the vehicles meet the required safety standards and arrive reliably at their destination station.

 

What do you contribute?

Control and Coordination of ATP integration releases (20% Hardware 80% Software) Clarification and documentation of the requirements for software and hardware functions and participation in reviews and quality gates. Application of prescribed design methods and tools Coordination of assigned resources Support in engineering tasks within your project release Supporting validation and commissioning as well as participation in optimizing the overall train control function on the vehicle Focus your work on reusability of work results in the sense of product and technical platform strategies Reporting on ATP project status to release Stakeholders.

What do you bring along?

Masters Degree or above in Electrical / Electronic Engineering/Control and/or Computer Science Professional experience in Engineering Team leading or Project Management Knowledge in integration, testing, operation and/or maintenance of automatic train protection systems is a plus Willing to undertake occasional business trips at home and abroad (approx. 20% depending on the respective project phase) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills You also communicate fluently in German and well in English.
