What You’ll Do?
Development and conversion of end-user accounts for the power tools and accessories category in the region. Achievement of assigned sales and margin targets. Coach and develop the field marketing specialist in the region.
Critical Incidents:
To achieve or exceed all Professional tools and accessories targets, both financial and specific objectives as deemed applicable by the Sales Manager.Establish close working relationships with End-Users.Work with Sales Managers to identify and convert distribution-based end users.Lead the development of account conversion programs; including product mix, FPSP programs, buy-backs, and operational elements.Identify and work with key end-users and distributor representatives to facilitate account conversion process.Communicate with cross-functional team (Sales/Marketing/Customer Service/Supply Chain) to support conversion program.Provide feedback to marketing on products, programs, pricing, competitors, and end-users.Lead the product training and safety training activities to end users and other critical people.Coach and develop the Field Product Specialist team.Manage conversion programs.Successful introduction of NPI’s in the market.Support major events including DeWalt Blitz and trade shows.Promote the DeWalt brand.Understand end-user requirements.What We Need?
Education, a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, sales, and marketing (an MBA a bonus) with at least 10 years of relevant sales and/or marketing experience with specific result areas on handling end-user business.Communication Skills – strong communication and presentation skills. Communication required at all levels to act on the requirements of the end-user, dealer, and business.Customer Focused – understanding and delivering the needs of the customer.Teamwork – essential to drive conversions forward with multi-level involvement. Work with others to complete events, Blitzes and training.Planning Skills /Time Management skills - effective planning of projects and territory management – prioritisation is essential to manage self and team/customer expectations. Good analytical skills.Drive & Initiative - drive to succeed to hit plan targets. Work autonomously to deliver own and others’ goals on time.Computer skills – essential to have skills to develop presentations and speed of response - analysing data and tracking supply.Financial Awareness - understand the numbers to achieve financial targets and provide commercially sound solutions.Commercial Awareness – understanding the industry, the market needs and trends and reference these into actions that enable us to convert the end-user base.Flexibility for Local Market and GCC Travel – customer relationships, team meetings, product knowledge and training.Personal and Professional Integrity – represent the company and brand to a high standard.SBD Leadership Values – Vision, Respect, Boundaryless, Accountability, Stretch, Integrity, Speed.Coaching – Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and comprehensive training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge which are crucial in achieving sales targets and driving growth for the organization.Key Internal Relationships
