Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Project Scheduler in the steel manufacturing industry, located in Youngstown, Ohio. This role involves ensuring the optimization and efficiency of project schedules, reducing risks and costs, and maximizing the use of resources.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure thorough integration of all project scope activities into the overall schedule and determine the critical path
• Coordinate and schedule project meetings such as Daily PEMs, Weekly Project Meetings, Supplier Meetings, Steering Committee Meetings, and more
• Monitor and update the project schedule to keep track of progress against the baseline, proactively communicating any deviations
• Utilize various Accounting Software Systems, including ADP - Financial Services, Costpoint, Deltek, Deltek Vision, and About Time, to manage project resources and finances
• Perform Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions as part of project cost management
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets
• Collaborate with team members to anticipate risks or opportunities affecting the schedule and establish action plans
• Produce comprehensive progress reports, which include master schedule with critical path, Operational Resource Plans, Qualification Plans, S-Curve & updated key dates, EHS plans, and potential FEMA actions Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary for this role
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Knowledge of Costpoint is essential
• Familiarity with Deltek is a must
• Prior usage of Deltek Vision is needed
• Ability to use About Time software is crucial
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is important
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Knowledge in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential
• Proficiency in Auditing is necessary.
