Job Description

We are seeking a Project Scheduler to build and maintain schedules for an entire plant turnaround. The successful candidate will create the schedule from scratch, working with production members to coordinate plant shutdown and startup schedules, as well as maintenance and contractor schedules. This role involves resource loading, critical path identification, and adjustments. The candidate must be able to adjust the schedule and critical path as jobs are added or removed prior to and during the outage.

ResponsibilitiesBuild the schedule from scratch for the entire plant outage.Work with production members to create plant shutdown and startup schedules.Create and maintain maintenance and contractor schedules.Perform resource loading and identify critical paths.Adjust schedules and critical paths as jobs are added or removed prior to and during the outage.Essential SkillsProficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.5+ years of experience in Project Controls/Project Scheduling in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.Experience supporting project shutdowns, turnarounds, or outages.Self-sufficient in software capabilities without the need for additional training.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in heavy industrial manufacturing Project Management is a plus.Work Environment

The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. The position requires 40 hours per week until the outage, with some potential overtime to meet milestones. During the outage, the schedule shifts to 12 hours per day on a fatigue day schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
