Project Scheduler Staff
Our client in the construction industry is seeking a Project Scheduler Staff to join their team. As a Project Scheduler Staff, you will be part of the scheduling department supporting project teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and have expert competency in scheduling techniques and analyses on all scope of work aspects, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Project Scheduler Staff **Location:** New Albany, OH **Pay Range:** Competitive **What's the Job?** + Define activities, duration, work sequences, and relationship logic to develop implement the scope of work plan and develop milestones to represent key decisions and deliverables that take place during execution. Ensure all logic and activities support the level of detail required by the customer and meet internal department standards and guidance. Ensure all scope and deliverables are accounted for. + Provide input and guidance to schedulers in the development of fully integrated system schedules (including resource loading and leveling) for schedules that utilize critical path methodology based on work scope from the work packages and planners work list. + Responsible for the development of junior schedulers in organizing schedule review meetings with all stakeholders and incorporating appropriate details. + Engage team and stakeholders to create schedules and provide schedule analysis updates to team, alerting them to schedule risks and issues that could delay milestones. Communicate schedule status to project stakeholders. + Direct and guide the administration of the AEP project management organizational standards and assist in the management of projects to those standards. Adhere to the guidance and standards put forth by the AEP Project Management Governance Committee. **What's Needed?** + Minimum of 6+ years of Primavera (P6) experience and using P6 currently. + Qualified Bachelor's degree, eight (8) years' qualified experience required; with a qualified Associate's degree, ten (10) years' qualified experience. + Experience should be in design, operations, planning, project management, cost tracking analysis, forecasting, project budgets, working with accounting principles, and/or construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Team player with ability to work and collaborate well with others. **What's in it for me?** + Possibility to convert to full-time. + Opportunity to work with a leading construction company. + Hybrid work schedule - Tues, Wed, Thurs in office, Mon and Fri are remote. + Competitive pay range. + Opportunity to work on complex schedules and train junior schedulers.
