Project SEARCH Instructor
Salary: $20.43 - $21.76
Position Overview: The Project SEARCH Instructor is responsible for implementing and overseeing curriculum and activities focused on skill acquisition, job development, and placement for interns. No two days are alike in this fast-paced, fun, and never-boring position, as the instructor collaborates with local businesses, families, and agencies to create individualized employment plans, identify job opportunities, and provide necessary accommodations. The role involves facilitating the development of employability skills such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, while supporting interns in securing internships, enhancing job-specific skills, and navigating transportation. Additionally, the instructor tracks student outcomes, coordinates job placements, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations, all while promoting a supportive and productive learning environment.
Work Location: Geneva, NY
Schedule: M-F 8am-4pm; Flexibility in schedule required to meet agency needs.

Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree and over one (1) year experience in service delivery with individuals with a disabling condition, to include curriculum delivery or work readiness training, or an equivalent amount of education and experience .
+ Must have training, experience, and a background in adult basic education, special education, rehabilitation, or a related field that meets the Project SEARCH model.
