This role involves job coaching, task analysis, and collaboration with various stakeholders, including interns, families, employers, and agency personnel, to ensure successful training and placement. The Skills Trainer will assist with vocational assessments, provide training in areas such as grooming, communication, and interviewing, and offer travel training when necessary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to problem-solve, use positive reinforcement techniques, and remain adaptable to the needs of interns and employers. The position also requires attending training, maintaining professional growth, and adhering to privacy regulations while fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
