Project Specialist - Protection Relay Training Coordinator
**Required Education/Experience** + Associate's Degree Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electromechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Energy Technology, Telecommunications Technology or equivalent degree and 8 years of work experience with relay protection systems or equivalent is required or + Bachelor's Degree Engineering or equivalent degree and 6 years of work experience with relay protection systems or equivalent is required or + Master's Degree Electrical Engineering and 4 years of work experience with relay protection systems or equivalent is required **Preferred Education/Experience** + Master's Degree Electrical Engineering and 4 years of work experience with relay protection systems or equivalent is required **Relevant Work Experience** + In-depth knowledge of relay software and its applications. Required + 2 years' experience scheduling, planning and coordinating meetings, events, and other team functions. Required + Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) Required + Must be well organized, detail oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments and able to meet deadlines) Required + Must possess informal leadership and interpersonal skills and have the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred **Skills And Abilities** + Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments + Possesses strong technical aptitude + Quickly troubleshoots and resolves problems + Develops and delivers effective presentations **Licenses And Certfications** + Driver's License Required + Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred **Physical Demands** + Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds + Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday + Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and kneel throughout the workday **Additional Physical Demands** + Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers. + Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed. + Must be able to participate in the Companys emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
