Responsibilities Conduct structural-engineering analysis and design of steel, concrete, and masonry building structures, including foundation, superstructure, and components for commercial office buildings and manufacturing facilities. Lead structural design project teams on large complex projects and fast-track schedules. Use ADAPT-PT to design post-tensioned concrete building structures. Use RAM Structural System and RISA structural design and analysis software to design steel, concrete, and composite steel/concrete building structures. Use Autodesk Revit BIM software to produce design documentation for incorporation into construction drawings. Research design options and review shop drawings. Collaborate with architects, owners, contractors, and manufacturers/fabricators to provide complete building designs. Communicate project progress and issues with the design team. Qualifications Master’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, architectural engineering, or a related field plus 6 years of structural-design experience with buildings or, alternatively, Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, architectural engineering, or a related field plus 8 years of structural-design experience with buildings. Professional Engineer license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Experience with structural design of commercial office buildings and manufacturing facilities. Experience with leading structural design project teams for commercial building projects. Experience with ADAPT-PT. Experience with RAM Structural System, RISA, or similar structural design and analysis software. Experience with producing design documentation using Autodesk Revit BIM software. Experience with steel and concrete design of building structures. Experience with composite steel/concrete design of building structures. Experience with post-tensioned design of building structures. 5% to 10% domestic travel to project sites #LI-DNI
