Project Superintendent

We are looking for a project superintendent who has experience from a construction management background and/or tradesman background.

Project Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring that all activities are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Manage all phases of construction from planning through completion, ensuring high-quality results.Team Management: Lead and coordinate field teams, ensuring that all personnel are aligned with project goals and deadlines. Motivate and support teams to maintain productivity and a high standard of work.Site Management: Supervise site activities and manage resources to ensure smooth project execution. Handle logistics, equipment, and materials to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.Safety Oversight: Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on-site. Proactively identify and mitigate risks and hazards, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other professionals to ensure that project objectives are met. Serve as the key point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.Quality Control: Monitor construction quality, identifying any issues and ensuring they are addressed promptly. Ensure that work is performed in accordance with the contract specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.Budget & Schedule Management: Manage project budgets, tracking costs and ensuring the project stays on budget. Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed to keep the project on track.Problem Solving: Address and resolve any on-site challenges, from technical issues to logistical hurdles, ensuring that projects continue without delay.Preferred Skills & Experience:Extensive Experience: 8-12 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing large-scale projects and managing field teams.Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage diverse groups of professionals, and ensure the smooth execution of complex projects.Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, contract documents, and building codes. Familiarity with project planning and budgeting.Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, First Aid/CPR, and USACE CQM certification preferredProject Management Skills: Strong organizational skills and experience in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources. Proficient in using project management software and tools.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with stakeholders, provide progress reports, and lead project meetings.Clearance: Secret Clearance is a plus but not required.Physical Ability: Ability to work in a construction environment and perform occasional physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 pounds.Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license for travel to job sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00
