Job Description
As a Project Superintendent, you will oversee all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction meetings to punch list administration. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and detail-oriented skills.
ResponsibilitiesOversee pre-construction meetings and coordinate temporary facilities.Develop and implement safety plans.Manage subcontractor contracts and ensure adherence to QA/QC programs.Supervise jobsite efforts and conduct weekly safety meetings.Record time and unit measurements and maintain regular communication with the Project Manager.Handle daily scheduling, manpower management, city inspections, and document management.Administer punch lists and ensure all items are reviewed and completed in Procore.Supervise and coordinate various contractors to ensure compliance with contracts.Oversee total construction effort to ensure projects are constructed according to design, budget, and schedule.Essential SkillsMinimum of eight years of supervisory experience in facility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures.Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.Ability to supervise large groups and ensure client satisfaction.Minimum OSHA 30 safety certification.Strong leadership, management, and accountability skills.Understanding of design and construction documents and contracts.Familiarity with LEAN, BIM, and Sustainability practices and systems.Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, project management systems, and scheduling software.Additional Skills & QualificationsFour-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and experience.Broad range of people skills.Ability to resolve issues on a routine basis.Work Environment
You will work in the field on projects located at Disney World, which could include hotels, restaurants, convention centers, and tenant improvement projects. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
