The program partners closely with OCFS to support child welfare staff to facilitate effective interventions for children and families. DUTIES:\n\nRecruit, hire, orient and train Clinical Consultation program staff. \nProvide direct weekly supervision to Clinical Consultants. \nAssist as needed in Critical Incident and Stress Management (CISM) within required timelines to OCFS child welfare and intake staff and child welfare community providers including but not limited to debriefing, defusing, grief and loss and crisis management supports. \nAttend to the vicarious trauma needs of clinical consultants by building strong team culture, promoting wellness, self-care, ensuring access to monthly vicarious trauma group and other supports as needed. \nMaintain currency on clinical and child welfare national best practices and relevant topics to provide high quality training and consulting to OCFS staff and support the clinical consultants. Topics include but are not limited to Motivational Interviewing\/Behavior Change, Effective Parenting, Substance Use disorders, and Trauma Informed practice and Resilience Building.\n\n
QUALIFICATIONS:\n
Education and Experience Required: Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited school and independently licensure in the state of Maine as an LCSW or LCPC. Must maintain required licensing and certification throughout the duration of employment with Spurwink in this role. \n
