Job DescriptionThe Project Support Assistant provides administrative and logistic support to several contracts within the Peer Review and Science Management business area, for Federal and State clients. This position functions as part of a team responsible for timely preparation and review of reports and deliverables, providing excellent customer service to client and consultant stakeholders, and providing logistical and operational support at meetings in the metro DC/Baltimore area.
Job responsibilities include:
Monitor project database for active programs/projects to ensure that related data and other information are complete and accurateTrack tasks related to virtual and in-person meetings including, but not limited to, participant meeting registration, consultant agreement and required paperwork completion, and travel arrangement completionInterface with scientific staff, clients, government officials, and consultants on a regular basis before, during, and after meetings to answer questions and provide assistanceAssist with administrative activities such as document compliance review, deliverable creation and document productionProvide assistance in organizing, preparing, and disseminating materials before, during, and after meetings/conferences/site visitsParticipate as a member of the team in improving and executing repeatable, transferable, scalable, process-driven infrastructureDesired skills and qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize and execute high volume of tasks and activitiesMS office suite experience, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPointAssociate’s degree preferred, or HS (or equivalent) + 2-4 yrs. related experienceBusiness writing skills and experienceAbility to work independently/virtually. The likely hourly rate for this position is between $22.52 - $30.46. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
