Job Summary

This position will provide technical and analytical support of the business processes associated with the Renewables & Energy Solutions (RES) organization.

Job Responsibilities Provides project controls, contract administration and quality assurance support at the associate level within the Renewables & Energy Solutions (RES) Organization. Provide technical support, including developing and submitting purchase requisitions and change order requests. Support and maintain the RES training catalog & matrix.    Assign trainings to RES associates and report on training records. Prepare/post invoices . Coordinate with vendors to reconcile invoice discrepancies and keep vendors informed regarding payment information.   Create journal entries as required. Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processing; these can include creating and posting journal entries, conducting actual vs. plan variance analysis, creating ad hoc analysis and supporting the investment recovery month-end revenue processing.  Monitor vendor project commitment status and generate reports. Maintain stringent document control processes for all project related information. Issue notes of meetings.  Waste data entry and management for Utility wide data tracking/reporting. Maintain and apply working knowledge of GAAP Principles, SOX Compliance, and Company Standards for Business Controls; meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls. Administer the SAP, SharePoint and shared drive security in accordance with PSEG practices. Assist with ongoing programs not limited to Intern Program, Business Continuity Planning, (BCP), All Hands meetings etc. Ad-hoc projects as assigned. Storm support Job Specific Qualifications

Required:
•      Bachelor’s Degree or in lieu of degree, 2 years minimum financial administrative experience.
•      Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications.
•      Strong organizational, communication and writing skills. Excellent customer interaction skills to resolve invoicing issues.
•      Ability to manage relationships with vendor representatives including information exchange for all project related work.
•      Ability to adapt to various responsibilities and work collectively within a team.
 
Desired:
•    Experience working with contracts and Ariba, SAP, Catalyst, etrack+, emPower
•    Strong analytical skills. 
•    Ability to confidently communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. 
•    Desire to be challenged, expand knowledge and take on more responsibility over time.
