Your role and responsibilities
Tasks:–\tSales Handover•\tAttend project handover meeting, review all technical documents and clarify all deviations.•\tIdentify risks and opportunities.–\tBasic Engineering•\tAcquires initial data from stakeholders.•\tPrepare project engineering document list and submitting schedule plan together with Project Technical Manager or Project Manager.•\tPrepare engineering templates / references.•\tPrepare / Attend external kickoff meeting, prepare question list to meeting and finalize the meeting minutes / action list.•\tAttend basic technical review, follow up action list.–\tDetailed Engineering•\tMonitors the compliance of the engineering processes to operating procedures e.g. classification society’s rules and other standards.•\tGuides design works and design changes (Project Manager takes responsibility if the change is requested by Shipyards or Owner, and have impact on schedules or (and) costs)•\tCheck project documents status and organize documents delivery.•\tAnswers technical questions from stakeholders.•\tOrganizes and leads project technical reviews and prepare review reports and action list.•\tFollow up design freeze plan and document approval status.–\tTest•\tPrepare FAT procedures and check list•\tPre-check, pre-test in test lab or factory site, finish internal quality control document•\tAttends FAT, support customer during test, organize punches discussing and prepare FAT minutes of meeting•\tFAT punches clearance follow-up–\tCommissioning•\tPrepare as-built updates Participates in kickoff meeting with commissioning team and prepare for technical handover.•\tProvides technical support of critical issues for commissioning.•\tPrepare final documents and software archive.–\tQuality•\tJoin quality improvement projects.•\tSupport to engineering templates maintenance•\tProject lesson learns sharing•\tQuality issue capture from project engineering
Qualifications for the roleRequirements:–\tElectrical & Automation (Marine), Bachelor or Above.–\tMarine & Offshore electrical propulsion system knowledge–\tElectrical drive system analysis\tDrive system THD calculation\tAFE converter filter selection\tSystem resonance evaluation–\tDrive system products knowledge\tMedium voltage frequency converter\tLow voltage frequency converter\tPLC drive control unit hardware / software\tVessel remote control unit hardware–\tFluent English communication with customer and colleagues (Oral / Written)–\tOwnership to own area of responsibility–\t“Higher Quality” awareness on daily workAdditional Information: –\tWith Lean 6 Sigma (L6S) basic
