Project Technologist
Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your expertise in building envelope systems? We are seeking a Project Technologist to join our client’s team, specializing in building condition assessments, capital planning, and project design.

Benefits:Competitive compensation with benefits planOptional company vehicle provided with gas card and company credit cardKey Responsibilities:Conduct onsite inspections to support the development of condition assessments, capital assessments, and project designs for:Roof replacement projectsBuilding envelope replacement/repairsEvaluate and analyze building components related to roofing and building envelope projects.Work with Senior and Project Engineers to develop cost estimates for capital replacement and/or repair recommendations.Develop technical reports summarizing inspection findings, recommendations, and solutions.Investigate and develop technical solutions to address issues identified during inspections.Conduct field quality assurance observations on capital repair or replacement projects to verify compliance with contract specifications.Perform onsite testing of building envelope installations following established testing standards and procedures.Develop facility, roof, and building envelope drawings using CAD software.Assist in creating detailed drawings for roof replacement and fall protection projects in CAD.Manage project communication and reporting, ensuring accurate tracking of project performance and related issues.Undertake additional assigned projects as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
If you're passionate about building envelope systems and want to work on impactful projects, we encourage you to apply!Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or a related field.2 years of experience in construction, consulting, or building envelope assessment preferred.Proficiency in CAD software for developing technical drawings.Strong technical writing skills for developing reports and recommendations.Experience in cost estimation, inspections, and field testing is an asset.Familiarity with building codes, standards, and regulations related to roofing, building envelope, and fall protection.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
