Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Project-based Maintenance Technician to join their team on 2nd shift. As a Maintenance Techmician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, impeccable safety work habits, and substantial interpersonal skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Work Temp./Maintenance Tech.

Location: Albia, IA

Pay Range: $25 per hour

Hours: 1:00pm or 4:00pm until 2:00am

What's the Job?

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and processes. Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Interpret and work with electrical and mechanical drawings and diagrams. Identify recurring malfunctions and develop long-lasting solutions. Collaborate with team members to ensure safety compliance and operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

Ability to interpret simple wire diagrams and troubleshoot electrical components. Knowledge of mechanical design and assembly drawings. Experience in welding, cutting, and fabricating parts and assemblies. Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and remain on feet for 75% of the workday. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
