ProjectWise Digital Technology Specialist

Role description:

Our Digital team is looking to for a Digital Technology Specialist to be responsible for ProjectWise administration, ProjectWise standardisation and advice on automation of workflows for increased efficiency on projects in Australia and the Philippines. You will be based in either Sydney, Brisbane, Perth or Melbourne and join our digital team on a permanent basis.

Role accountabilities:

Provide technical and functional support of cloud-based Bentley Systems’ ProjectWise and its association with Autodesk products (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit), Bentley products (e.g. MicroStation and OpenRoads), 12D and other software applications. Engineer, Define and convey user configuration and workflow needs to meet specific business requirements. Delivering ProjectWise User and Administrator training and webinars for the users in the organisation. Analyse and consult into business on software system needs to enhance project delivery and efficiency. Provide guidance to project staff on BIM management procedures, BIM/CAD workspace development, plotting and publishing, ProjectWise workflow and environment development. Support major projects and assist project teams with project setup and coordination. Responsible to identify and mitigate any risks throughout the software eco-system Able to provide advice, guidance and expertise around software design activities as well as customisations to ProjectWise using coding and scripting techniques.

Qualifications & Experience:

First and foremost, you share our passion for improving quality of life. You have demonstrated experience providing technical and functional support to the business in ProjectWise and come to us with:

Significant experience using ProjectWise Administrator for configuration, customization, and application support of ProjectWise. Sound understanding of electronic document management with strong emphasis on engineering design, including BIM and document/collaboration management standards. Network Engineering knowledge and experience within a multi-discipline engineering business Ability to communicate effectively among a diverse work team in multiple locations. Confidence dealing with technical experts & specialists, engineers and senior management. Ability to clearly present information both written and verbally; read and interpret complex information and liaise with internal clients. Thorough understanding of web technologies such as Microsoft SharePoint as well as general coding experience using .Net and C# will be highly regarded. Qualifications/and or Degree in Software Engineering, IT or Engineering
