In partnership with the Director of MP&A, the Promotions & Inventory Manager, Americas will optimize inventory across the Americas DTC to corporate requirements while meeting or exceeding our revenue, profit goals and premium positioning across the market. You will also partner closely with Demand Planning team to ensure optimization inventory as part of the larger Americas inventory ownership.
As we are going through substantial change, innovation and building our winning culture, this role is an in-office position with at least 4 days/week in the office.
As our Promotions & Inventory Manager, Americas, your responsibilities will include:
Lead Open-to-Buy Process; present financial forecast and supporting action plans in monthly open-to-buy forecast meeting. Identify business opportunities and mitigate inventory risk through in depth business analysis. Provide all pricing and promotional recommendations for DTC (FP, Outlet and Ecom) channel that align with department financial goals, while partnering with wholesale to ensure market alignment. Own the EV List process with Wholesale, Partnering with merchandise and DTC planner. Monitor excess inventory and transfer as needed between business units to achieve revenue and inventory goals. Own in-season product life cycle management and exit strategies, ensuring exiting in the most profitable way for the brand. Partner with Supply Chain on the outcome of buys that don’t meet MOQ’s or shifts in delivery dates. (demand owned / applied to plans and otb. Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan, forecasts in-season sales and inventories on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. Update and publish weekly inventory reports. Identify and leverage best practices and system usage in order to work efficiently and effectively. Ensure all systems are updated with accurate local season. Collaborate with finance on build out of new promo tools to capture results and run scenarios. Ad hoc requirements Other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

If you have…
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning, buying or allocation. Strong financial, analytical and communication skills are essential. Keen understanding of retail math including intricacies of open to buy, inventory turnover and gross margin. Working knowledge of SAP and Anaplan is a plus. Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines. Expert with Microsoft Excel. Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level. Ability to travel up to 5%, both domestic and internationally.
