Job Description:
The Property Accountant primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to
Monthly financial statement preparationMonthly/Quarterly/Annual schedule preparationMonthly owners funding/distribution requestMonthly mortgage wires/ACH'sBank reconciliationsStrong account analysisAssist with annual auditsOther duties assignedQualifications
BS degree in accounting preferred3-5+ years progressive experienceSkills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrate excellent computer skills, verbal, math, and reasoning skillsDemonstrate strong negotiating and sales abilitiesPossess strong leadership; interpersonal and organization skillsPossess effective time management skills and attention to detailKnowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other Microsoft Office productsKnowledge of Internet, Email, and social media as it pertains to marketing of communityKnowledge of property management software, such as, MRI/Real Page/Yardi/TOPSKnowledge of business practices and principlesAbility to handle multiple projects and tasksAbility to cope with stress in a composed mannerAbility to respect and maintain confidentialityAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.We offer full-time, career-track positions with competitive pay, health, dental, vision and life insurance; housing discounts, vacation, paid holidays, exceptional 401k plan with employer match and much more!!!!
