Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Property Accountant in RARITAN, New Jersey. This role involves a range of responsibilities including account coding, using accounting software systems, and maintaining financial records. The successful candidate will be part of a team that plays a crucial role in our financial operations. Responsibilities • Utilizing accounting software systems effectively to maintain accurate records • Performing accounting functions with precision and diligence • Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure smooth financial operations • Applying account coding in financial tasks and documents • Conducting auditing tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy • Implementing accrual accounting principles in daily tasks • Using ADP for financial services and management • Working with AMSI and AppFolio for streamlined operations • Monitoring and managing customer accounts effectively • Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required for the role of Property Accountant. • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is essential. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is highly desirable. • Proficiency in using AMSI is a beneficial skill for this role. • Knowledge in using AppFolio is advantageous. • Understanding of Accounting Functions is fundamental to this role. • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is a prerequisite. • Ability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) is a necessary skill. • Proficiency in Accrual Accounting is crucial for this role. • Experience in Auditing is a significant advantage for this role.
