Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Property Accountant in the Real Estate and Commercial Property Management industry, based in Cypress, Texas. In this role, you will be expected to handle various accounting tasks, maintain accurate records, and work proficiently with specific accounting software. Responsibilities: • Handle accounting functions related to real estate and commercial property management • Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ensure accurate record-keeping of financial transactions • Operate accounting software such as Yardi Voyager and Yardi Breeze proficiently • Carry out accrual accounting tasks effectively • Respond to and resolve inquiries related to client accounts • Monitor client accounts and initiate appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Property Accountant role or similar • Proficient in all accounting functions including the preparation of financial statements and budgeting • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Solid understanding and experience with accrual accounting • Proficiency in using Yardi Voyager and Yardi Breeze software systems • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
