Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Property Accountant in Seattle, Washington. As a Property Accountant, you will be part of a team that handles financial reports, carries out bank and GL reconciliations, makes monthly adjustments, and collaborates with Property Managers on payables and receivables. You will also be involved in the review, analysis, and posting of CAM charges, as well as recommending procedures for more efficient productivity in YARDI software.
Responsibilities:
• Review and prepare monthly financial reports
• Carry out bank reconciliations and GL reconciliations
• Perform monthly adjustments
• Work closely with Property Managers regarding payables and receivables
• Review and analyze CAM expenses and CAM charges history
• Calculate and post new CAM charges
• Propose more efficient procedures on YARDI software for better productivity
• Use Accounting Functions and Accounting Software Systems for various tasks
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform Cam Reconciliation
• Use ADP - Financial Services for financial related tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required for accurate and efficient data management.
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is necessary to facilitate seamless financial operations.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is crucial for managing payroll and HR services.
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is essential for maintaining the financial health of the organization.
• Capability to handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed to manage cash flow effectively.
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is important for accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency in Cam Reconciliation is required to ensure accurate allocation of common area maintenance expenses.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager is crucial for efficient property management and real estate accounting.
