Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the construction industry for a Property Accountant. The position is based in Carlstadt, New Jersey, United States. As a Property Accountant, you will be tasked with managing accounting functions, utilizing various accounting software systems, and conducting audits. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee regular accounting functions • Accurately code accounts for seamless transactions • Utilize Accounting Software Systems for efficient financial management • Liaise with ADP for financial services and transactions • Use AMSI and AppFolio for property management accounting • Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes • Employ accrual accounting techniques for effective financial reporting • Conduct auditing procedures to ensure financial compliance and transparency • Monitor and take appropriate actions on customer accounts. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary for accurate financial record keeping. • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems to efficiently manage and process financial information. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services to ensure smooth business operations. • Knowledge of AMSI is required for effective property management and accounting. • Proficiency in AppFolio for streamlined property management tasks. • Understanding of Accounting Functions for accurate financial management and reporting. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures to maintain accurate financial records. • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures for effective cash flow management. • Familiarity with Accrual Accounting to ensure accurate representation of financial position. • Auditing skills are necessary to conduct internal checks and ensure financial compliance.
