Position Responsibilities:
General Accounting to include general ledger review, financial statement preparations, sub-ledger reconciliations, and quarterly re-forecast review, and high-level monthly variance explanations. Prepare supporting documents for annual tax packages. Process manual billings, billing adjustments, and refunds, maintain supplemental ledgers using accounting operating system. Expense Participation (EP) for properties: Input EP information for all tenants on assigned properties, prepare pre-bills, annual true-ups, budget and reforecast for EP by Tenant. Perform lease review of assigned properties, and peer review for EP set up. Assist management offices, when necessary, by researching issues and responding timely to their accounting-related questions. Assist Accounting Manager - Transactions & Reporting with preparing properties, as requested, for upcoming dispositions including verifying support schedules, providing general ledger and invoice support and cleanup, and any reconciliations required. Set up jobs and process all pay apps for TI/Capital on assigned properties.Essential Functions:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, required. (18 hours of accounting coursework required) 3-5+ years commercial real estate accounting experience, public accounting audit or other commiserate experience. Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills required. Proficiency in Excel – Intermediate Level. JD Edwards experience a plus.Physical Requirements:
Ability to independently move throughout the office and consistently and continuously perform essential job functions. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Travel Required:
Minimal travel, up to 5%
