Property Administrator

Job Overview:


The Property Administrator will serve as the point of contact assisting with the everyday inquiries and needs of homeowners, primarily specific to violation. This person will serve as Enforcement Review liaison, assist with compliance issues, attend scheduled Enforcement Committee meetings and perform various administrative duties to support the association and community management team(s) as assigned.

 

Compensation: $20-22/hr 

 

FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

 

Hours: Tuesday – Saturday
             (variable times 9:45AM to 8:15PM)

 

Your Responsibilities:

Maintenance of accurate and complete records as required to properly and effectively implement the Enforcement Review. This includes homeowner computer files, violation reports and correspondence, hearing correspondence, homeowner correspondence, tract maps noting status of each lot, etc. Direct liaison for violation needs of the community. Maintain awareness of Community Guidelines, Design Review Guidelines and other Governing Documents that are related to Enforcement (ERC) activities, take minutes during ERC meetings, and prepare responses to applications for residents. Interacts and follows up with all Board and/or Committee members and homeowners regarding enforcement issues of the association when necessary. Consistent use and maintenance of information in Connect, Tasks, and other FirstService database programs as assigned. Submit all charge-backs for association(s) via chargeback systems, including but not limited to violation fines and architectural submission fees per the clients' management contracts. Perform regular site reviews of the neighborhoods street-by-street to inspect, document, photograph and issue violations within the community as assigned. Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive to other work locations, perform site reviews, pick up supplies, etc. Prepares for and attends all Enforcement Review Committee meetings as designated by association requirements. Preparation and distribution of monthly reports and agenda packets. Complete company training as assigned, attend all mandatory company functions, and adhere to FirstService Standards of Operation, policies, and procedures. Maintain an organized workspace according to company procedures. Greet walk-in clients as appropriate. Other projects, opportunities or assignments as may be deemed needed and appropriate for this position. 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent customer service background/skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Professional representative of FirstService Residential Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and listening Collaborative decision-making, relationship building and problem-solving skills Organizational and time management abilities High level of attention to detail Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications, particularly Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point; ADP Vantage a plus

 

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma; College Degree preferred
