Job Type: Administrative Property Assistant
Location: Avenel, NJ
Compensation: $17.80/hr
A leading property management company in Avenel is looking for an administrative assistant to join their property management team! This Administrative Assistant will be responsible for reviewing contracts, answering questions, and supporting tenants.
What you’ll do:
Assist in scheduling maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs. Maintain calendars and track deadlines for preventive maintenance. Prepare and maintain maintenance-related documents, including work orders and purchase orders.Assist in maintaining safety records and conducting safety audits. Answer phone calls and emails related to maintenance inquiries. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and services beyond the scope of in-house maintenance.Communicate effectively with residents regarding maintenance updates, scheduling, and any necessary follow-up.Draft routine correspondence and memos to both internal and external stakeholders.Manage office supplies and order replacements as needed. Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing documents.What you’ll bring:
1-2 years of Administrative experienceExperience working with contracts/InvoicesStrong communication skillsExcellent project management, time management, and organization skills.Proficiency in MS ExcelWhat you’ll get:
