JLL is currently seeking a highly motivated Property Associate to join our established Property Management Team located in the Central Business District. This exceptional role offers a unique opportunity to gain invaluable exposure to various aspects of property management, with a specific emphasis on the critical accounting function.

One of the key elements for success in this position is your ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with tenants and vendors. Your exceptional customer service skills will serve as the bridge between our valued tenants and our team, allowing you to not only meet their needs but also anticipate and exceed their expectations.

This is an on-site role, from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Provides general administrative support to the Property Management team and customer service support to the tenant and owners.

Tracks and updates Certificates of Insurance (COI's) on a monthly basis for tenants and vendors.

Ensures compliance with management audit requirements and prepares files and records for annual audit.

Assists team members with budget preparation for the property as requested.

Receives, codes, and pays invoices for the property in a timely manner.

Obtains completed W-9 forms from vendors.

Prepares manual adjustment forms for miscellaneous Tenant Service Requests.

Tracks and monitors building metering for electric consumption.

Compiles and provides rent statements to Assistant General Manager for review/approval.

Monitors Accounts Receivable, makes rent calls, and sends collections notices.

Drafts contracts and maintains Contract Summary, monitors contract expirations.

Coordinates estimates and schedules third-party vendors for special requests.

Reviews and addresses Tenant Service Requests, assists with planning and coordination of tenant events, and tenant move-in's/move-out's.

Prepares tenant memos and correspondence as directed by managers including updating the Tenant Handbook.

Works with Director of Security to plan annual safety warden meeting.

WHAT YOU BRING:

Bachelor's Degree with major in Business or Accounting preferred.

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an office setting.

Experience with accounts payable/receivable. 

Commercial Real Estate experience is a plus.
