This person is responsible for designing and negotiating Commercial Insurance strategies for lower middle Private Equity portfolio clients and prospects. They are simultaneously the voice of WTW and the main representation of their client in the insurance marketplace.

The Role:
Develop and lead market strategy and proposal review meetings with WTW team members to correspond with client presentation dates. Deliver market intelligence for strategy meetings and utilize available resources throughout the marketing process. Perform due diligence reviews on portfolio company new business and transactions. Address client needs by identifying coverage gaps and highlighting new coverage opportunities for comprehensive program placements. Create innovative placement approaches to meet and exceed client expectations. Negotiate premiums, coverage enhancements, commissions, and existing coverages with carriers. Provide a thorough review and analysis of renewal information; including but not limited to, coverage, limits, loss history, and exposures. Provide thorough communication with all WTW team members, carriers, and/or wholesalers throughout the duration of each placement. Bind coverage and create and submit carrier binders/documents. Build and maintain strong carrier and wholesaler relationships. Attend and participate in Industry meetings. Keep informed of changing insurance and risk market conditions. Communicate changes and/or updates to WTW service team members as they relate to pertinent classes of business. Understand and comply with WTW Excellence Model Management (WEM) requirements. Collaborate and communicate with other client services teams and Shared Service Centers to smoothly and efficiently complete joint work/process steps/etc. Maintain performance to applicable Client Service and Placement standards and/or metrics.The Requirements
Valid Property & Casualty license as required by state law, or ability to acquire appropriate licensing within 90 days of hire. Obtain Surplus Lines license within 180 days of hire.Commercial P&C insurance knowledge/experience is required and previous success in client facing work strongly preferred.5+ years’ insurance experience in a similar job function or with similar processes is strongly preferredDemonstrated excellence in negotiation skills and influence skills are critical.Superior interpersonal skills for working with colleagues and clients in a collaborative team environment, both in-person and virtually.Strong verbal and written communication skills to include phone conversation, email communication, and written presentations skills.Technology acumen to adapt to multitude of technology-based systems (Epic, carrier online rating systems, Broking Platform, etc.)Strong attention to detail and process orientation.Time Management and Organizational Skills in the face of changing deadlines and workloads.Ability to work independently, yet actively and appropriately engage the services provided by “extended team members” across the Shared Service Centers and Teams.Problem solving abilities, including critical thinking, research, quantitative skills, creativity.Basic to Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.Insurance designations such as CPCU, CIC and ARM are advantageous.This position will remain posted for a minimum of three business days from the date posted or until a sufficient/appropriate candidate slate has been identified.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $80,000- $125,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
