Property & Casualty Licensed Commercial Lines Account Manager
Adecco is hiring immediately for a **Commercial Lines Account Manager** with a local client in **St Louis** ! Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below! · **Type:** Contract to Hire · **Pay rate: $23-$35.00** · **Shift/Hours:** 8:00am – 5:00pm (Monday - Friday) **ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:** · Demonstrate an understanding of routine coverages and policy terms and be able to clearly articulate this information as needed. · Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, support staff, insurance markets and other staff. · Complete and Review all submissions for completeness, accuracy and the need for supplemental applications. · Underwrite and determine the correct market(s) to quote and coordinate the gathering of additional information required. Quote online and/or submit accounts to carriers for new business and/or renewal quotes. · Complete and Control the customer records and accuracy of the client base in the Agency Management System, AMS360. · Manage assigned “book of business” through annual review of renewals, rewriting eligible surplus lines accounts to admitted carriers, and monitoring the input of activities for accuracy. · Manage day to day processing of endorsements, coverage/policy changes, billings, certificates, audits and general correspondence. Utilize all available resources to ensure timely completion of work. · Prepare coverage letters, check policies for accuracy, issue binders, process invoices and set up files · Perform other duties as assigned **POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:** · Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Writing Sample Required · Organizing and prioritizing skills essential · Excellent problem solving and decision making skills exhibited in a tactful manner · Ability to respond and adapt to changing environment · Expertise in the use of all office equipment including a computer, calculator, fax machine, copier, scanner and business telephone · Demonstrate high degree of skill in insurance agency management systems, specifically the AMS360 Agency Management System · Requires the ability to multi-task · Requires strong analytical skills · Knowledge of commercial underwriting helpful · 3 years of insurance experience **EDUCATION** · College degree desired but may substitute work experience in the insurance industry **IMPORTANT:** This job is being recruited for by Adecco’s National Recruitment Center, not your local Adecco Branch Office.
