Property & Casualty Practice Leader - Norwalk, CT

General Description:


The Property & Casualty Practice Leader will be responsible for continuous organic revenue growth by leading existing and attracting new Property& Casualty Producers. The Property & Casualty Practice Leader is responsible for managing a team of Producers focused on capturing new business. This position is managing only and does not have an individual sales quota. The focus is on helping the Producers drive continuous revenue growth. Our Practice Leaders must have strong sales coaching and mentoring skills and have extensive depth of Property & Casualty Commercial Brokerage experience. This is a hands-on, tactical role supporting a team-oriented sales process which includes going out on appointments with Producers. 


Primary Responsibilities:

Learn then lead USI’s proprietary One Advantage Platform, to include:Omni: Proprietary, real time, interactive intranet-based client solutionsNetwork: Vast experienced local resources, networked nationallyEnterprise: Combining Omni Solutions with the Network for comprehensive resultsDrive profitable organic revenue growth through client retention and new businessPartner with local in-house recruiting team to source, recruit, hire and train producers/brokersPartner with operations team to ensure the highest level of client solutions and satisfactionCreate positive collaboration to drive a robust cross sell processRun huddle meetings to 1) prepare for new business appointments 2) keep existing clientsJoin producers on new business appointmentsEnsure producers maintain robust pipelines with quality prospectsDevelop positive carrier relationships

Key Performance Metrics: 

Simple Net New (SNN): New business exceeds lost businessDirect contribution margins (controllable within the practice)Organic revenue growthExecution of USI One AdvantageRecruiting, hiring and development of team

Required Skills:

5 -10 + years of P&C commercial brokerage experience3 - 5 + years of sales leadership experienceTrack record of successful individual P&C commercial broker salesDeep knowledge and expertise of commercial P&CStrong visibility within the P&C communityProven track record for meeting or exceeding performance targetsConsultative, solutions based selling approachAn executive presence with polished and well developed written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative, passionate, high integrityUndergraduate degree

 Travel: Some domestic travel required
