Chubb Risk Engineering has an opening for an Industrial Hygiene (IH) Professional. You will provide comprehensive IH support to our clients’ sites primarily throughout the United States.

 

Responsibilities:

Provide fundamental industrial hygiene support to resolve issues of limited complexity under the general direction of principal-level industrial hygiene professionals Conduct field industrial hygiene assessments at client facilities Write technical reports summarizing the data and findings of your field assessments and submit for quality review within 30 days of the end of the assessment Maintain high ethical standards commensurate with our profession. Maintain absolute client confidentiality and respect all privacy issues Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene or related field, or two to three years of industrial hygiene field experienceFundamental knowledge of OSHA Permissible Exposure Limits and ACGIH Threshold Limit ValuesPrevious consulting experience preferredAbility to evaluate, interpret, and recommend actions/solutions for problems of limited complexity. You will be supported by a knowledgeable team of professional expertsVerbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a team environment and present and explain technical information to all levels of personnel and managementEffective organizational skills necessary to manage multiple tasks in demanding, often new, environments within defined timelinesAbility to provide a high-level of customer service and good follow-throughAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment with a broad cross-section of people, including effective interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues with tact, discretion, and mature judgmentProficiency in English is required.
