Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Property Damage Claims Specialist based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The role involves handling and processing customer property damage claims related to electric service operations, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies. Responsibilities • Handle and process customer property damage claims in a timely and accurate manner • Oversee the claims process from initial receipt to final determination and notification to the claimant • Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies during claim processing • Analyze claims to verify that the losses to be paid align appropriately with the event • Maintain comprehensive records of all processed claims, both accepted and denied • Uphold the confidentiality of claim decisions and rationale • Deliver superior customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries • Navigate escalated calls or direct them to the appropriate work groups • Carry out any other duties and projects as assigned. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service • Experience in Documentation and record keeping • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word • Familiarity with About Time software • Experience in Claim Administration • Ability to maintain Confidentiality at all times • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suites • Knowledge of ensuring Compliance with industry standards • Experience in Settlements and Liability handling • Excellent Written Communication skills • Understanding of Local Regulations related to property damage claims • Experience in handling Property Claims.
