Job Description
Responsible for day-to-day management of approximately 3 - 5MM SF portfolio, integrating all functional operations (facilities, management, project management and transaction management) to achieve Workplace goals. Manage the execution of a $100 - $200MM operating budget and held primarily accountability for achieving financial results within a given geography. Provide risk management, governance and control over the services provided by regional vendors. Maintains high level client relationships with senior managers with broad regional responsibility. Has a team of outsourced associates. Strong real estate experience, plus an advanced degree.
The Team
The Bank Corporate Real Estate function manages a full outsourced model across EMEA and is a small and established team based in London. The UK&I property director is a critical role within this team.
Interaction with all disciplines within the bank will be essential and will include functions such as Transactions, Strategy & Planning, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Vendor Management, Procurement, HR, Marketing & Comms, Technology.
The Facility partner team is embedded in the Bank so there will be day to day contact and interaction with their team, regular meetings with Heads of Departments, IFM, PjM, Engineering as well as more detailed interactions
with project and program managers.
• An SME team of 10 based in the UK and France, responsible for design governance and some service delivery of plans across EMEA.
• Working with partners such as payroll, global mobility and HRSC as well as external HR and Tax partners.
• The Team won an award in 2024 as Best Healthcare and Wellbeing Strategy - Large Employer by EB Awards
• Role development through the bank’s L&D and talent programs as well as SME training with Partner organisations.
Responsibilities:

Required
Must have strong experience in real estate operations preferably in financial services
• Core understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals with project management and/or facilities management experience
• Preferably Member of IWFM/BIFM and/or RICS (Building surveyor or Quantity surveyor)
• A strong understanding of corporate culture inclusive of the impacts of real estate on operational, reputational, and regulatory risk
Seasoned professional with ability to effectively communicate with and influence executive leadership across multiple business lines
• Comfortable self-solving problems and issues; is highly self-directed
• Demonstrates a business perspective to the work of the group; brings a point of view to these discussions; quickly establishes effective

• Highly adaptable and experience in change management
