Property Management Assistant
Description Robert Half is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to join a local and growing organization. In this role, you will work closely with the Property Manager to facilitate tenant relations, oversee administrative tasks, and ensure smooth daily property operations. This position is ideal for someone with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, a passion for property management, and a proactive attitude. Key Responsibilities + Tenant Communication: Respond to tenant inquiries and service requests, ensuring timely resolution of issues and excellent customer service. + Lease Administration: Assist in preparing, reviewing, and organizing lease agreements and ensuring compliance with all lease terms. + Maintenance Coordination: Schedule property inspections and coordinate maintenance and repair requests with vendors or contractors. + Administrative Support: Manage property files, update records in property management software, and maintain accurate documentation. + Financial Support: Assist with rent collection, invoicing, and processing vendor payments, ensuring accuracy in all financial records. + Marketing Support: Help create marketing materials for property listings, schedule property showings, and manage online rental platforms. + Compliance: Ensure all properties meet local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards and landlord-tenant laws. Requirements Qualifications and Skills + Proven experience in property management, office administration, or a related field. + Strong organizational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and team members. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, etc.) is a plus. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. + Familiarity with local landlord-tenant laws and real estate practices is advantageous.
