The Opportunity:
As the Property Manager, you will be tasked with direct oversight of the safety and operation of our nine buildings, approximately 1,000,000 square foot office campus in Plano, Texas. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Workplace Services, you will ensure the daily operation of Fisher Investment facilities by applying your extensive knowledge of facility operations, property management, strategy development, and organizational leadership.
The Day-to-Day:
Respond to staff facility needs ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve facility related issues promptlyMaintain tenant, vendor and property files, including insurance certificates, lease abstracts, and moreWork with building engineers, facility technician staff and vendors to compile a list of maintenance items and preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. Coordinate and monitor status of work assigned to vendors.Ensure regular property inspections are being completed, and recommend alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning. You will be the main contact for and oversee vendor services and operationsBe the primary contact with property owners and tenants to ensure needs are metPrepare and deliver timely, accurate, and completed operational reports to internal leadership team and other key stakeholdersDevelop, control and report annual budgets for operating and capital expenses. Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance, explaining variancesPrepare income statements, balance sheets and various other accounting statements or financial reports for management. Analyze accounting variances and prepare variance explanation reportsWork as a team and help provide guidance and reviews of all engineers, security, administrative, and accounting employees. Mentor team members to further develop proficiencies and skills
Your Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial property and facilities management experience3+ years of commercial property accounting management experienceExperience leading teams and growing a facilities management organizationDemonstrated success managing relationships with vendors, tenants, and executive leadershipBachelor’s degree in business, accounting, engineering, facilities, or project management or a similar field. MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred
