ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all regulations.Manage tenant relationships, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.Develop and implement property management policies and procedures.Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and lease agreements.Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and compliance.Collaborate with leasing agents to attract and retain high-quality tenants.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, particularly those related to life sciences and medical facilities.Handle emergency situations and develop contingency plans.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial property management, with a focus on life sciences, laboratory, or medical facilities.Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Professional certification (e.g., CPM, RPA) is a plus.KEY COMPETENCIES

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time. They must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly operate office machinery.
