Description
Robert Half is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Property Manager for ongoing opportunities to oversee the operations, maintenance, and administration of residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses strong leadership and problem-solving skills. A Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the property operates smoothly, meets the needs of tenants or residents, and achieves ownership objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Property Operations: Oversee daily operations of the property, including building maintenance, tenant relations, and vendor coordination (Source: U.S. Demand for Skilled Talent Q1 2025.pdf).
+ Financial Management: Prepare budgets, track expenses, and manage rent collections to align with financial goals and report regularly on property performance.
+ Lease Management: Market vacancies, screen prospective tenants, negotiate leases, and ensure lease compliance.
+ Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate or conduct routine inspections, address repair/maintenance requests promptly, and oversee renovation or improvement projects.
+ Tenant Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants or residents, handle disputes or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
+ Compliance: Ensure all operations meet legal, safety, and landlord-tenant law requirements.
+ Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external service providers, such as landscapers, cleaning crews, and repair professionals.
Requirements
+ Proven experience in property management or a similar role.
+ Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant laws, building codes, and property management best practices.
+ Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Knowledge of property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) is a plus.
+ Ability to manage a variety of responsibilities and work well under pressure.
