Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional property management, tenant satisfaction, and compliance with all applicable regulations and programs, including HUD, TCAC, Home Program, RHCP, CAL HFA, AHP, and other relevant housing initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to maintain high standards in property upkeep and resident relations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, and financial performance.
+ Ensure full compliance with affordable housing programs and regulations, such as HUD, TCAC, Home Program, RHCP, CAL HFA, AHP, and other federal, state, or local requirements.
+ Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
+ Oversee rent collection, budgeting, and financial reporting in accordance with program guidelines.
+ Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
+ Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property.
+ Maintain accurate records, including lease agreements, compliance documentation, and tenant files.
+ Stay updated on changes to housing regulations and ensure ongoing program compliance.
+ Collaborate with ownership and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits and inspections.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role within residential property management.
+ In-depth knowledge of affordable housing programs, including HUD, TCAC, Home Program, RHCP, CAL HFA, and AHP.
+ Strong understanding of property management principles, leasing, and tenant relations.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
+ Ability to manage budgets, financial reports, and compliance documentation.
+ Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Detail-oriented with a commitment to regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
+ Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Property Manager, COS, or similar) preferred but not required.
