About this role:

In this role, you will:

Perform moderately complex to complex tax accounting activities related to the preparation of federal, state and local income tax returns or the financial statement accounting for income taxesPrepare comprehensive tax work papers, perform account analysis, and prepare responses to audit requestsResearch memos or correspondence and embody and model compliance and risk management requirements for supported areaExercise proficiency in accounting and multi-jurisdictional income tax laws, rules and regulationsDevelop knowledge of federal and state income tax laws, rulings, regulations and judicial decisionsPerform basic income tax researchMaintain records related to income tax returns and reportsWork with moderate to minimal supervisionProvide functional advice to less experienced staffConsult on income tax related matters with lines of business and other control functionsDevelop relationships with assigned business units related to the collection and analysis of information important to income tax accounting or complianceWork with business partners to collect internal financial or tax data, perform data analysis, test for accuracy, identify and resolve data problemsParticipate in projectsCommunicate and provide consultation regularly with mid-level stakeholders companywide


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Corporate Tax, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Prior personal property tax and leasing experienceA BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or ReportingExcellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy2+ years of Property tax experienceKnowledge of Property Tax Management Software (PTMS) or other property tax softwareExperience with Tax Research software (CCH, IRA)Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) skillsKnowledge and understanding of equipment finance and leasingAn active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designationExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsMicrosoft Excel spreadsheets experience importing, exporting, and manipulating data

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$63,600.00 - $113,000.00
