Job Description
As a Proposal/Customer Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for validating, documenting, and approving proposed costs within the parameters of a rigorous proposal process.
ResponsibilitiesAuthorize the cost to repair or replace systems or appliances covered by active enrollments.Accurately document conversations, agreements, and actions taken with providers regarding job costs and related tasks.Review and approve job costs for Out of Network providers and jobs with special circumstances not identified or pre-negotiated on rate sheets.Ensure and verify the accuracy of claim creation, coding, and documentation from creation to completion.Handle correspondence from providers requesting approvals for additional charges on pending service orders promptly.Coordinate appropriate follow-up with customers or providers to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.Coordinate appropriate follow-up with customers of non-covered claims and provide effective documentation explaining the reason why.Offer technical knowledge and expertise to colleagues.Stay up to date with local codes and regulations along with labor and material costs.Respond promptly to actions generated by other team members or contractors.Manage inbound and outbound phone calls.Monitor emergency claims to ensure they are processed swiftly and efficiently.Find and assign providers in the area for claims when no provider is available.Contact providers through various means, including online searches, to secure service.Essential Skills1+ years of customer service, data entry, and administration experience in an office environment.Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office suites.Excellent communication skills.Experience in claims processing, invoicing, and invoice entry.Critical thinking to understand, analyze, evaluate, and negotiate in complex situations.Strong data entry and documentation skills.Ability to demonstrate urgency as needed.Great organizational, time management, and independent problem-solving skills.Self-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and adaptability.Good attention to detail.Work Environment
The work environment includes a hybrid role after training, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. The office hours are Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM, with the first shift from 7 AM to 3 PM and the second shift from 10 AM to 7 PM. The new office in Naperville features amenities such as a gym, basketball court, coffee shop, convenience store, modern pit-style environment, energetic floor, and a well-equipped kitchen area with a soda machine.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.23 - $25.00/hr.
