Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Proposal Developer to manage the proposal development process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will ensure strict adherence to RFP requirements and deadlines while working collaboratively with various teams to develop compelling proposals. This role requires excellent project management and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage the proposal development process from pre-RFP planning to final submission, including RFP analysis, scheduling and facilitating proposal kick-off and development calls, gathering questions for the client, liaising with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and final production.Ensure strict adherence to RFP requirements and deadlines.Drive the development of proposal win themes and value propositions.Provide overall quality assurance, ensuring conformance to branding guidelines.Manage multiple projects using effective project management tools such as proposal plans, schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices.Facilitate post-submission requirements such as Discussion Items and Clarifications.Help manage the grant writing process.Collaborate with local office operations, clinical teams, business development teams, and other corporate partners including finance, contracts, HR, and legal.Establish sustainable relationships with internal and external partners and clients.Update and maintain proposal tracking and information databases.Participate in department meetings, initiatives, and projects.Develop and continuously improve proposal processes and proposal library content.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProven experience in proposal development, with at least 3-5 years preferred.Demonstrated ability to write technical or creative prose; writing samples required.Proficiency in creating formatted proposals in MS Word and using other tools to support content development.Practical use of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in English, Technical Writing, Business, Communications, or Journalism.Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid work schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely. Initial training will require full-time in-office presence for 2-3 weeks.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.87 - $43.27
