As a Proposal Engineer with German, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of Technical & Commercial Project Proposals to our customers in Europe across various process industries (such as Life Sciences, Chemical, Energy, Power and Renewables) within automation projects business portfolio and support Emerson sales teams in the pursuit of new business opportunities.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Ensuring understanding, handling and satisfying each requirement or expectation from customers or the company’s partners through remote communication or site visits;Taking full ownership of the delivery of the assigned technical and commercial project proposals scope, or sub-scope of large size and/or sophisticated project proposals led by Proposal Manager or Lead, within Emerson Systems & Software projects business portfolio, following the standard process; for independent delivery of project proposals, act as Solution Architect applying technical expertise for the concept design development of Emerson solution, fulfilling customers’ requirements; ensure the innovative and efficient solutions are proposed; proactively apply methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing the proposal preparation effort, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality; ensure partners are proactively informed on the status or any challenges;Acquiring, maintaining, and actively sharing knowledge and experience with the team and the more comprehensive organization; supporting on-the-job development of other Project Proposal Engineers;Taking other responsibilities or tasks, including those related to Ethics and Information Security policies within the skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed. For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the Engineering field;Proficiency in English and German (written and verbal) Understanding of process automation, DCS (Distributed Control System) and/or PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, computer infrastructure and network architecture;Computer literate (MS Office).Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
