We will count on you to:

Support RFP response processes from beginning to end and be responsible for coordinating the delivery of major proposals including project coordination, proposal strategy, content development, document production, team coordination and presentation supportUnderstand the RFP requirements and the pursuit strategy to help the team create compelling and client‑focused proposal documents and presentation materialsDevelop and manage project plans, keeping teams focused to ensure key milestones are met; organize proposal teams and act as project manager for the completion of the RFP response, and ensure the RFP process is followed and timelines are defined, communicated, and met on time; set up and lead RFP kickoff meetings and follow up with contributors as requiredProvide quality assurance and document management including liaising with document production team to deliver the highest quality proposals and presentationsServe as the master editor on most RFP responses and high-value pitches in order to quality-check readability and consistency of messaging; convert contributors’ content into a cohesive document with a clear, single voice

What you need to have:

Must have 3+ years of experience in a related proposal management or proposal development discipline in the public sector and/or industry serving government sectors where you are able to demonstrate a proven track record of coordinating teams to deliver commercial outcomesBachelor’s Degree requiredAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office suites, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel requiredSuperior writing, editing and proofreading skills are essentialStrong attention to detail skills are criticalMust have excellent interpersonal skills, along with a “can do” attitude which allows you to build impactful relationships with others

What makes you stand out:

Knowledge of Responsive (formerly RFPIO) and Smartsheet (or similar) software is a plus

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.


The applicable base salary range for this role is $61,200 to $122,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
