In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and submission of prequalification and bid proposal packages for projects in the engineering and construction industry. This is a fun, collaborative and mission critical role & team.The Proposal Specialist will collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive project documentation, including PowerPoint presentations, project lists, resumes, and collateral materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. Experience with technical documentation, proposal writing, and editing is required, along with proficiency in MS Office, MS Visio, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required).A background in engineering or construction is preferred. Establish and maintain file structures for project-specific Requests for Qualification (RFQ) and Bid Proposals. Manage RFQ documents, responses, and final submission materials. Oversee bid proposal preparation, including scope, resumes, project lists, organization charts, and supporting documentation. Develop deliverable lists, timelines, submission requirements, and final package submissions. Collaborate with internal teams to design and develop PowerPoint presentations. Partner with Marketing to implement tools and procedures for maintaining project documentation according to organizational standards. Compile project data for press releases, project profiles, and case studies for print and website use. Coordinate media opportunities and trade show schedules with the Marketing team. Qualifications:What You'll Need to Be Successful: Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent customer service, research, and analytical skills. Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading content. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Competency in MS Office and MS Visio, with required experience in Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to work under general supervision, exercising discretion and independent judgment. Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience. At least 3 years of experience in preparing, editing, and submitting technical documentation, including proposals. Preferred experience in project management and the engineering or construction industry.
